Cochrane Street United Church is located in the historic east-end of downtown St. John's. Its distinct architecture is accentuated by a vaulted dome which creates a brillant acoustic. The four-manual Casavant pipe organ is recognized as one of the finest in eastern Canada

The Fairmont Newfoundland Hotel is situated to the far right on the map.

 Our Mission Statement

Our Mission is to be a welcoming, active, caring Christian community, growing in faith, celebrating God's love and presence in our world, reaching those who live around us, and continuing the work of Jesus with all who will listen to His message, as we find it written in the Bible.

To fulfill this mission, our vision is to:

Be open to opportunities for spiritual renewal and express God's presence in our lives.
Provide regular opportunities to meet together in Christian fellowship.
Promote Christian values and beliefs within the congregation, the local community, the country and, where possible, around the world.
Warmly welcome any in the local community, who may be seeking to know Christ.
Be active stewards by contributing our time, our talents and our resources to the work of our Church.
Demonstrate care for our church members, local community, country and our world.

To use the resources of the sanctuary, gymnasium, kitchen and classrooms to further the mission of the Church.
To care for and carefully maintain the resources left to us by earlier congregations for the continuation of our mission as a Christian Church.
